math 11.1 exit slip

i didnt help my classmates because i didnt understand it myself so they helped me . i was able to accomplish my volume caculation and my surface area because before i didnt really no what i was doing.the skills that i learned was how to calculate a squared number and finding the actual number to what i am looking for . i use it when i am at work.how do you find pie of a number i do not really get why it is used ?

  1. π (or spelled out as "pi") is a symbol for a special number. The special number is the same number that you always get when you divide any circle's circumference by the diameter.

    Circumference is the distance around the circle.

    Diameter is the distance from one point on the circle to the other side of the circle through the center.
